If generating program files does not result in the PDA receiving the new data:
1. Make sure Windows Mobile is properly installed. When plugging in the HHD to the PC, it should auto-sync and either run or install if not installed yet. Makes sure this process starts and completes.
2. Make sure the HHD is properly plugged in. You can check this in Device Manager. If it is plugged in, but not showing as connected by the computer, or seems to stop showing it is connected while syncing, it might be a bad cable.
3. If the cable is good but Windows Mobile still does not run or install, you may need to involve tech support, but who to call will vary based on the property involved. Some properties are represented by ACC, who has a tech support line to call, for instance.
4. If Windows Mobile is running fine, check the folder that the door information is syncing from. Go to Settings > Program Settings > Programming. Make sure the “Locks will be programmed with a Pocket PC device” option is selected. The folder location set for this will vary, but can be changed any time if you think it is set wrong. If there have been any recent changes to the PC used, the software, or the PDA, this location may need to be adjusted.
