If you are receiving titan errors in the software when trying to complete actions or save settings, this can result in data not saving or duplicate saves.  


Try right-clicking on the SAMrf icon and choosing to "Open as an Administrator".  See if the issue comes back after that when relaunching normally, or if this has to be done every time.  


Reboot the computer.  See if the issue is gone after the reboot.  


Make sure you have the latest version of the software.  Current version is 3.17.


If this continues, check and see if software on the PC is interfering with the program.  If McAffee antivirus firewall settings are believed to be the issue:


1. Open McAffee from the system tray on the lower-right hand side of the desktop.



2. See if it is possible to add SAM to a list of exceptions regarding firewall security.  


3. If not, go to Manage security and turn the real time scanner off for 15 minutes:



Try SAM again and see if this resolves the issue.  If not, it could be another program that needs to be turned off.
