SMS Express will not save data unless the program is closed and users answer "Yes" when prompted to Backup the database:
If door files have not been loaded to the handheld device, used to program the doors, and then brought back by reconnecting the handheld device to the computer and syncing with SMS Express before closing, you may see the following message. Click "Yes":
You may also see this message. Click "Yes" when prompted:
If you did not close the software manually and back up the database, you may see this message when reopening the software. Always answer "Yes" unless you cannot. A "No" will delete your last changes:
You might see this message when opening the database. Only say "Yes" if you have saved the last changes in the database. If not sure, say "No":
Occasionally, you might see this message after not saving correctly if you use multiple databases. Note that you might have to say "No" to the question of using a temporarily saved file due to this problem if you were prompted just before this message. Try "Yes" first and always save your database manually when in doubt:
