SAFLOK MT, XT (adese), 79RT and Quantum RFID Electronic Lock LED Diagnostic Codes
This section was built to help you diagnose and troubleshoot specific LED conditions and what it means to you. The lock has extensive diagnostics capabilities to help you maintain and operate your MT, XT (adese), 79RT and Quantum RFID style locks. 12 LED diagnostics codes are currently available for the SAFLOK lock. One (1) single Green light flashes for 5 seconds when keycard is used
Lock is functioning normally; turn lever to open door.
One (1) single Yellow light flashes 8 times rapidly when keycard is used
Key could be expired, make new key; Lock may be in electronic lock out mode, use ELO key and remove lockout.
One (1) single Yellow light flashes slowly 12 times when keycard is used
Lock is in privacy mode (dead bolted), use Emergency key to open the door; Check for proper cam position.
One (1) single Yellow light flashes 1 time when keycard is used
Lock or key is not programmed for hotel, reprogram lock or make new key.
One (1) single Yellow light flashes 2 times when keycard is used
Key is an old key or wrong key for the room, remake key.
Yellow and Red flashes 2 times (together) when keycard is used
Lock cannot read all the information on the key, key may be damaged or not properly encoded
1. Try using key in the lock again make sure key is being used properly
2. Lock may need to be cleaned (use cleaning card in lock)
3. Try making a new keycard and use new keycard in the lock.
One (1) single Red light flashes 2 times when keycard is used
Lock can not read any information from the key.

Red and Green lights flash together when keycard is used (lock will still open) for 9 seconds
Lock's time and date need to be updated.
Red and Yellow lights flash together when keycard is used (door will not open, it is in privacy mode) for 9 seconds
Lock's time and date need to be updated.
Green and Red lights flash alternately (lock still opens) for 9 seconds
Lock's batteries need to be changed.
Yellow and Red lights flash alternately (lock will not open, it is in privacy mode) for 9 seconds
Lock's batteries need to be changed.
One (1) single Red light flashes 1 time every 30 seconds
Key switch is broken, replace lock reader.
